On Thursday 13 July, Cardiff University held a retirement reception for their Vice Chancellor Professor Colin Riordan CBE.
It was a good turn out with tributes being paid to Colin’s strong commitment to further education , research and innovation for Wales, the UK and globally.
Deputy Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Gwent Professor Simon Gibson CBE and fellow Deputy Lieutenants Agnes Xavier- Phillips JP and Fiona Peel OBE were amongst those who were invited and delighted to attend this notable event.
