On 15 July 2022, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Gwent Agnes Xavier-Phillips JP received the Princess Royal in Gwent to meet the Mayor of Caerphilly, Group Chief Executive of The City and Guilds of London Institute and Chairman of Educ8 Training Group.
Educ8 Training Group received the royal visit in recognition of the Princess Royal Training Award for their innovative Workforce Development Programme and met staff and learners from across the company who were taking part in practical learning sessions.
