A Summer Concert by the Caerphilly Community Chorus

The Caerphilly Community Chorus presented their water themed “A Water in Song Concert “at the Vanguard Centre on Saturday 8 July.
The Chorus won the W.S Gwynn Williams Award in 2014 for most improved amateur music organisation in Wales. They welcomed a new Musical Director, Anna Beresford to join their accompanist Ceri Gilford -Berry. They are supporting Caerphilly Miners  Centre at this concert with a raffle
The concert featured Special Guest ReChoir which has a varied repertoire showcasing everything from bespoke arrangements of traditional Welsh songs and musical theatre, to chart toppers old and new, all with their unique pop choir twist.
The concert had a full audience including Deputy Lord- Lieutenant Agnes Xavier- Phillips JP, Lord Mayor of Caerphilly Cllr. Mike Adams, Caerphilly Town Mayor Mike Prew, Caerphilly MP Wayne David and Katherine Hughes Secretary of Caerphilly Miners Centre.
Another excellent concert in the busy series of July events at the Vanguard Centre.
